iShield is hard at work
even before an image is displayed in your web browser
iShield takes a unique
approach to identifying potentially offensive Internet
images and preventing them from being displayed while
you surf the Internet. iShield uses a three
step process to protect you before any image is displayed
on your PC:
Digital image processing analyzes
images to determine if an image is potentially pornographic.
Neural network technology uses the
results of the image analysis and the text on the screen
to decide if an image is offensive.
iShield will then block
each offensive image before it can be displayed.
Step
1: Advanced Image Analysis
Our innovative technology analyzes
images for the following:
Skin Tone Detection
Texture Detection
Edge Detection
Mass Detection
Limb Detection
Face Detection
Step
2: Decision
This
sophisticated decision making takes into account the results
of the image analysis and the text within the web page to
determine if an image should get blocked.
iShield will then overlay
a neutral image to block any pornography from view.
The Control Panel allows you to adjust
the detection level to suit your own browsing needs. Lower
values block less images, while the higher setting blocks
more.
Step
3: Blocking
iShield
records the URLs of the pornographic web sites visited and
blocks the images with a neutral image within the web browser,
as seen below:
