4. Accessing iShield™ for the First Time

You must create a password the first time you launch iShield™. This password allows you to access the iShield™ control panel and adjust its settings.

4.1 Set up a Password

To set up a password, do the following:

1. Navigate to the iShield™ Control Panel by clicking Start > Programs > Guardware > iShield™ > iShield™ Control Panel. See Figure 6.

2. At the top of the Control Panel, click on Password (See Figure 6). If this is the first time you are launching iShield™, the password dialogue box appears. See Figure 7.

3. Enter a password in the Password field.
4. Enter the password in the Confirm field and click Continue.
5. Click Continue. The iShield™ Control Panel appears.

4.2 Forgot your Password?

If you forgot your password, you will need to provide your email address. Password will be sent to the registered email address. The forgot your password, message will appear if password is entered wrongly more than 2 times.
